3.8 installer hangs, beach ball, need to force quit

What happened?
Installing Phosphene

Steps to reproduce

1. Start Install

Your system (OS / GPU / RAM / VRAM / etc.)
Apple M5 Max, 64GB,

It was working great before on past versions, I deleted the app and installed new version. I can't get passed the attached screen shot without beachball forced quit.
