PM Codex v1.0.1 — vibecoding, but for project managers
Vibecoding changed how developers work: you say what you want, the AI writes the code, and you review the diff before it ships. PM Codex brings that loop to project management.
Tell the AI what happened, in plain words:
• "The vendor slipped two weeks — move UAT and everything after it."
• "Here are today's meeting notes."
• "What's at risk this month?"
The AI reads your whole project — timeline, tasks, risks, deliverables, meeting minutes, and your project knowledge base — and drafts every change that follows: shifted dates, new action items, updated risks, the minutes themselves. It all arrives as one change request. You review it like a pull request: old value above new, line by line. Edit any line, drop what's wrong, approve the rest. Nothing changes until you sign off.
You stop doing project admin. You review it.
Works with your AI of choice
• Claude: click Connect to Claude, then say "Start a PM Codex session" in Claude desktop
• Gemini: built into the app (optional — bring your own API key)
Everything a PM needs, AI-ready
• Timeline with Gantt and an Excel-style activity sheet
• Tasks & issues, risks with a heat map, deliverables, stakeholders, billing
• Minutes of meeting, with action items you push to the task tracker
• Codex: a project knowledge base the AI reads before suggesting anything
• Privacy glossary: names you list are swapped for tokens before anything reaches the AI
Your data, your machine
PM Codex runs on your own computer. Your data lives in your own Google Sheet, not on someone else's server. Your API key never leaves your computer.
Getting started
- Install, then Start (leave the Gemini key empty to skip it)
- Open PM Codex — the Setup Wizard connects your Google Sheet
- Connect to Claude, and start talking to your project
Mac only for now; Windows is planned. Open source under GPL-3.0.
