On an intel mac comfyui would be extremely slow. That wouldn't be any fun at all. A single image with a very small model would need around 10 min to generate. With an NVIDIA GPU it would need seconds. Even with an Apple mac it would need only around a minute.
You need either an Apple Mac or a PC with a dedicated NVIDIA or AMD GPU to use Ai apps in an acceptable time.
