Hi! Here are my complete system specifications for investigating Windows ARM64 support in Pinokio.
Hardware
Laptop: Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 14Q8X9
System Model: Lenovo 83HL
Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus X1P42100 (Oryon CPU, approximately 3.24 GHz)
RAM: 16 GB (15.6 GB usable)
Architecture: ARM64-based PC
Operating System
OS: Windows 11 Home
Version: 10.0.26200 (Build 26200)
BIOS: LENOVO PUCN54WW, dated June 5, 2026
Software Environment
Pinokio: 8.2.0
Pinokio Home: C:\pinokio
Python: 3.13.12 ARM64
Git: 2.55.0.windows.1
Node.js: v25.9.0
uv: 0.11.28 (aarch64)
Problem
Pinokio's system requirements do not complete successfully. The Hugging Face installation fails with a Conda package-resolution error involving hf-xet. The managed Miniforge environment became incomplete. I tried Pinokio's built-in bin reset, but it removed the other managed tool folders and did not recreate them when I restarted Pinokio.
I understand Windows ARM64 is not officially supported yet. Given this hardware, is there a recommended workaround or a development build I can safely test? I'd appreciate guidance on restoring the managed tools as well.
Thank you!
