Please install the MSVC Redistributables from Microsoft.
If yours are missing or outdated it can cause such an error.
Install them for x86 and x64.

If videocrafter still doesn't start, it might be because of the nightly torch wheels. In this case please install stable ones like described below:
- Make sure Videocrafter2 is not running
- Click the Menu icon of Videocrafter 2 on the main page of pinokio
- On the right side menu click Open dev mode
- At the bottom of the next page click CMD - Python Shell
- In the Terminal that appears execute this command:
uv pip install torch==2.7.0 torchvision==0.22.0 torchaudio==2.7.0 --index-url https://download.pytorch.org/whl/cu128 --force-reinstall --no-deps
- If torch could be installed, stop the terminal and try to start videocrafter 2
