Create a 2-minute-55-second, 16:9 animated storybook short titled “Uhambo Luka Lulu” for South African Foundation Phase learners (Grades 1–3).

Use bright, warm 2D children’s-book animation, soft colourful illustrations, expressive faces, simple backgrounds and gentle movement. Set the story in a beautiful South African community park with trees, flowers, birds, a path and a clean playground. Keep every character’s appearance consistent from scene to scene.

Character designs

Lulu: A curious, kind 7-year-old South African girl with warm brown skin, dark eyes and two puff ponytails. She wears a yellow top, teal dungarees and red shoes.
Sibusiso: Lulu’s friendly 7-year-old South African friend, with warm brown skin and short coiled hair. He wears a green top, orange shorts and navy shoes.
Teacher: A kind, responsible adult South African woman with dark brown skin and short natural hair. She wears a purple cardigan and teal skirt.
Bird: A small, friendly blue-and-yellow bird.
Language and subtitles

All narration and dialogue must be spoken in isiZulu. Do not dub or replace it with English.
Use a warm, clear isiZulu-speaking narrator and natural-sounding character voices, at a gentle pace suitable for young learners.
Show the English subtitles below, synchronized to the isiZulu speech. Use large, clean, child-friendly lettering, with strong contrast and a subtle dark backing. Keep to two lines maximum.
Do not add other on-screen writing except the title, subtitles and final lesson card.
Sound and safety
Use gentle instrumental background music, quiet park ambience and occasional bird calls. Keep music below the voices. Show the teacher supervising the cleanup; children wear gloves and collect only safe rubbish. Lulu does not touch the bird—the teacher helps it gently. Keep the story cheerful and age-appropriate, with no frightening imagery.
