Phosphene 4.0.1 - first-week polish, live preview on High tier, and one important speech

Point release, out now. What is in it:

  • The updater fails loudly instead of pretending. A failed fetch can no longer report success on stale code, and your local files survive every update path. That class of bug had been quiet in there for months - an external code review dug it out, and this release ships the fixes.
  • HIGH tier renders now show LIVE PREVIEW - watch the take form and stop it early, same as drafts already could. Output stays byte-identical; watching costs nothing.
  • Storyboard learned three laws: trained characters keep their trained look (the planner can no longer decide your character is a badger), nobody talks without written lines (that was the gibberish audio), and your film's premise survives planning.
  • The preview player in Storyboard can be hidden, so the shot list stays readable while clips play (thanks cocktailpeanut).
  • Characters tab is one contract now: what you see is what it sends is what reloads.
  • Installs pinned back to LTX-2.3 get correct download offers everywhere.

Known-remaining: three narrow updater/notification corners, named honestly in the release notes - fixes already running for 4.0.2.

The clip: rendered on this Mac in about four minutes on the tier this release polishes - trained face AND trained voice. The candidate speaks for himself.
