Phosphene 4.0.2 - a 720p High tier, image-to-video that respects your image, and truer characters
Point release. What is in it:
- HIGH 720p: new quality tier - 1280x704 through the full two-stage High pipeline, measured at about 8 minutes for 5s on an M4 Max. The label is measured, not guessed.
- Image-to-video actually animates YOUR image now. A port bug was quietly re-noising the input away after the first step - correlation to your image went from 0.09 to 0.79. If i2v ever felt like "inspired by" instead of "animating", that was it.
- Trained characters now ride the engine's native LoRA route with per-file attachment verification: a file that cannot fully attach refuses with its name instead of silently rendering a stranger. Honest note - characters may look slightly DIFFERENT from this release on, closer to their training, because fusing into quantized weights no longer erases part of the trained delta.
- Enhance works again (it was loading the wrong text model and timing out in silence).
- Live preview self-reports when it cannot run. One legacy update path could leave the engine one build behind the panel - the panel now says so instead of showing nothing.
- Trigger-word warnings understand cast characters and duplicate library entries. Downloads save under their real names. The updater refuses obstructions loudly and preserves your files.
