Director mode - Adjust the cut speed option, missing/not implemented?

What are you trying to do?
It says to adjust the cut speed if needed. How do I do that in Director mode?
There doesn't seem to be a way to adjust it, nor have it use more reference images. 5 clips is not enough at all even for this short experiment. With 3-4min songs, it never has enough decides on enough clips. This software, I'm having to abandon Auto mode right now. Manual mode at least as more options, but it doesn't have an option to have multiple window segment times. Only fixed seconds throughout the song, which makes cutting shots inaccurate. I have to go back, export part of the audio from where i want a shot from beginning to end, and then give it only that part of the song and redo the video generation for that one part only.

There has to be an easier way to get this done.
