1 firewall as befor
2 Network disabled
3 app starts no problems.
As a linux user I know how to protect myself and not allow any program or os to write to my disk or connect to the Internet without my express wish.
But i don't know anything about auditing or forking etc. Linux has a command where you can batch search for files that contain whatever you want to find. It returns s list of files that has the word searched for. I did so and found quite a few in the env folder. And as I took a look, 8 also discovered that the app is censored to s degree. Not a problem for me, but it is.
If you have something like that in windows you can easily install it. It place the files in a Linux VM and search there
When I get the time I will try and upload at least a list of some of the offending files, but I am sure you can do it yourself, and probably would know if anything can be done about it
