you really have the same problem. And sadly nothing can be done to get you more memory.
For a cover AceStep needs to also process your reference song which requires more memory than only generating a new song. The only way to reduce memory consumption is using a smaller model and try without initializing the LM model and use MLX DiT if you don't alread use it.
