4.19.19 - P-H3-Image, 8-megapixel pictures, free
New in the Images tab: P-H3-Image by Pruna AI, built on MiniMax H3 (the same family as our Hailuo video). Big photographs, film frames and posters from a sentence, made on your Mac, nothing sent to the cloud.
- 8 MP in about 5 min on an M4 Max (4 MP about 2.5 min, 2 MP about 1.3 min). Not upscaled: one image, straight out of the model, nothing retouched.
- Words come out spelled exactly. Put short text in double quotes and it is written as typed.
- Free. Needs a Mac with 48 GB or more and Hailuo H3 installed. Pick it in Images -> Engine, click the "download ~18 GB" chip once (fetched from Pruna, never re-hosted), then Generate.
- Honest limits: hands and tiny background faces can still go wrong, and it does not take reference images yet.

4.19.18 - lip-sync that keeps time with the voice
- Lip-sync: the mouth now moves with the voice, not a few frames ahead. Lip-sync clips from both video engines moved the mouth up to a quarter of a second early. Phosphene now checks each lip-sync clip after it is made and holds the picture back by exactly those frames. The sound and the length stay the same; a clip it cannot read clearly (singing, no clear face) is left as it was.
- A friendlier one-time thank-you card after your fifth video, and one-click starring if your Mac is signed in to GitHub (the gh command). Close it once and it never comes back.
- Fixed: a stopped image model download no longer fails as "stuck" on every Generate. Press Generate again and it carries on.
- Clearer messages when an image model download breaks off, and when a LoRA does not fit the image model.
