crispz-ideogram is a Fooocus-style web studio for Ideogram 4.0, the open-weights model that renders text in images best: posters, logos, packaging, slides, covers, dense typography. Everything runs on your own GPU, nothing leaves the machine.
Read the licence first. Ideogram 4.0's weights are under the Ideogram 4 Non-Commercial licence: personal use and research only; any commercial use of the self-hosted weights needs a licence negotiated with Ideogram. For commercial design work, the same workbench exists with an Apache 2.0 model: crispz-moss.
- JSON captions, the way the model was trained. An editor builds the structured caption (summary, style, palette, every text with its exact content and its box), boxes drawn with the mouse on a canvas at the chosen ratio. Nine design presets at native sizes: A-series poster, logo, business card, book cover, 16:9 slide, packaging, thumbnail, 9:16 story, 6:1 banner.
- Magic prompt and Describe, local. A plain idea becomes a caption through the model's own Qwen3-VL-8B encoder (constrained JSON, 11 to 18 s) or through Ollama; Describe reads an existing image back into a caption, texts verbatim.
- img2img, inpaint, outpaint, reframe, emulated on the model's own schedule; ESRGAN plus refine upscale; local vectorization to SVG; Remove BG.
- Editing with references is handed to crispz-flux3 on the same machine.
- No negative prompt: Ideogram 4's unconditional branch takes no text, and the field says so.
Measured on an RTX 5090: 1024x1024 in 61 s at 48 steps, 19 GB peak; 2048x2048 in about 6.5 minutes. 24 GB of VRAM is comfortable (nf4 weights through bitsandbytes, CUDA only).

- In Pinokio, open Discover and paste
https://github.com/mikecastrodemaria/crispz-ideogram.pinokio.
- Click Install: the launcher clones the app, creates a Python 3.11 venv, installs the requirements and PyTorch (CUDA 12.8).
- Accept the licence on Hugging Face, create a read token and paste it in Settings.
- Click Start, then Open Web UI. Pick a design preset, write your texts in the caption editor, Generate.
